X_Cicéro — Nouvelle Grotesquerie 2022

Revival of a font from the catalog of the Morel foundry (ex-Jacoby & Fils), the last French manufacturer of wooden typefaces.

The original specimen, acquired in Grenoble from the beneficiaries, served as the basis for a digital reinterpretation. Produced as part of X-Cicero, a research and typographic design program focusing on wood typefaces. Led by Adrien Vasquez at ÉSAD Valence.
